Bay Area Clubs gather to support 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers

March Madness Sale 2000

March 18th members from Diablo 4 Wheelers and Mendocino 4x4 were scattered among four bay area 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers stores to lend support of their March Madness Sale. For the first time ever 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers actually held this annual sales event for the entire week with the conclusion on March 18th. With five days of March Madness already concluded Saturday ended with a big bang for the Sacramento, Oakland, Santa Clara and San Jose stores (and possibility all stores) that Diablo 4 Wheelers and Mendocino 4x4 members attended.

Our objective for the day, help 4Wheel Parts March Madness sale with a 4x4 vehicle show (using our rigs), mingle with the customers, the running of the 4x4 ramps and barbecue, and general parking lot control when needed. Besides promoting the March Madness sale we provided information about CA4WDC, our clubs and Run A Muck, the Cadillac of Family 4x4 events.

Members of the Diablo 4 Wheelers and Mendocino 4x4 toke great pride in providing a quality vehicle show at each store with four or more trail vehicles present at each store.

OAKLAND STORE

The Oakland store, which had a ramp (that was built that morning by employees of 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers) had the Warn Black Diamond verse Rubicon Express suspension challenge. The results, Warn Black Diamond beating Rubicon Express by more than a inch. There was even a Geo that toke on the ramp...

SANTA CLARA STORE

Santa Clara was the setting for the best all-around prepared trail vehicles which displayed rolling shops with plenty of spare parts, Premier Power Welders, air compressors and air tools, trail ready trailers, hot showers and much more. The Santa Clara store also a provided a ramp for their customers.

SACRAMENTO STORE

Sacramento was the scene of the big bad boys, with Broncos and Toyota Land Cruisers leading the charge up the ramp.

SAN JOSE STORE

San Jose display 4x4 diversify, with a Chevy Tahoe, full size Ford F350 (extended cab), full size 4x4 Chevy pickup (the tow rig) with a CJ7 as the tow vehicle, a Toyota pickup and FJ40 Land Cruiser.
